Episode 1: Episode 1: Orlando Bloom (s02e01)

Plot Summary: Andy Millman is very excited at the prospect of his sitcom - 'When the Whistle Blows', being made by the BBC. He knows how he wants it to be: realistic - something the audience can relate to. But the BBC have other ideas - they make Andy's character wear a wig and silly glasses. And they let Keith Chegwin appear in it...It's not long before the comedy is totally different to Andy's original ideas. But it's the BBC's money and production team. He can't make it without them...Meanwhile, Maggie is an extra on Orlando Blooms latest movie. Orlando is obsessed with himself - and with Maggie. But she doesn't fancy him at all!

Episode 2: Episode 2: David Bowie (s02e02)

Plot Summary: Andy has realised that fame is not all it is cracked up to be, when his sitcom receives terrible reviews.The public, however, give him encouragement. He's recognised by a homeless man and his "biggest fan" in a pub.But when Andy and his friends head to a classy bar, he discovers that even David Bowie wants to mock him, in the form of a song - "the little fat man who sold his soul".

Episode 3: Episode 3: Daniel Radcliffe (s02e03)

Plot Summary: First comes the success, then the backlash and the British press aren't about to change the rules. Andy has incurred their wrath and needs some good P.R.
Meanwhile, on the set of his new film, Daniel Radcliffe is trying his staggeringly poor chat-up lines on anything female.

Episode 4: Episode 4: Chris Martin (s02e04)

Plot Summary: Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, asks if he can appear, and sing, in Andy's sitcom much to Andy's reluctance. Bad reviews continue to flood in, but it's better news when Andy gets a surprise nomination for a BAFTA award for Best Comedy Performance.Things soon start to go wrong at the ceremony when he is caught in the wrong place at the wrong time with Ronnie Corbett. And when Maggie tells Andy's former girlfriend another embarrassing secret, she uses this nugget of information to get her own back on Andy for calling her, "the most boring woman in the world".

Episode 5: Episode 5: Ian McKellen (s02e05)

Plot Summary: Andy, in search of some credibility, gets a part in a play with Sir Ian McKellen. But when he finds out that the play - 'A Month of Summers', is a tale of love between men, he's uncomfortable with the part. He feels even less comfortable when some of his old school friends come to see the play.

Episode 6: Episode 6: Jonathan Ross (s02e06)

Plot Summary: Andy has a new celebrity pal, chat show host Jonathan Ross. However, his friendship with Maggie is under strain and he's just about had enough of his useless agent, who's more interested in a pen than Andy's career.When Andy is pressed into visiting a sick child in hospital by his pushy mum, Andy meets Robert Lindsay who is less than impressed when the child and his mum fail to recall his 70s sitcom, Citizen Smith.Just as Andy is ready to fire his agent, Darren offers him a chance to meet his idol Robert De Niro. But will Andy abandon his real friends to meet his hero?

Episode 7: Christmas Special (s02e07)

Plot Summary: Maggie is still struggling as an actor whilst Andy has the success he craves with When the Whistle Blows. However, the show has been changed so much, it no longer resembles his original idea. To make things worse, Greg is having the kind of success Andy craves, which leads Andy to ask himself what he really wants from fame, and whether he really wants it at all.
