Degrassi: The Next Generation Plot SummaryFrom Linda Schulyer, creator of Kids on Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High and School's Out. The Degrassi series originally aired on CBC in Canada and PBS in the United States.
In this reinvention of the 1980's c, the series revolves around teenagers attending Degrassi Community School. The students at Degrassi endure the harsh realities of high school such as sex, abuse, romance, homosexuality, religion and addictions. During the sixth season, students who graduated from Degrassi navigate their way through the real world or university.
Amongst the new generation of kids, alumnis from the original series provide roles as either a parent or a teacher.
